Anyway, the card I have to share with you today has a gorgeous digi from the magical pencil of Mo! When I saw this image I just had to smile - our offspring always loved spending time with their Dad (who is the most placid, patient and kind man - who thankfully has a wonderful sense of humour!).
The image is called 'Boughs for the wreath' - I've coloured the image with copics and Graph it pens. I decided to use a 'window' style of layout with acetate, and added some 'snow' to the acetate with a white pen.
The backing papers are from LOTV with some kraft card. I've added a Spellbinder's 'poinsettia' with some pearls from stash. The gingham ribbon is from Joanna Sheen, with a button and some bells from stash (and they really do jingle lol!). The sentiment is from LOTV.
Hope you like it!
And I hope you have a good week - and manage to have some crafty time!
Back soon,
Kim x

Oh what a heartwarming Christmas card Kim - it's beautiful in it's colouring and pretty seasonal embellishments but what really stands out to me is the love and respect you have put into the gorgeous digi - Father and son time is so precious and not enough children have the experience these days. Hope your son had a great birthday - 15 - an whole new set of challenges ahead for Mum and Dad now :-) Your son sounds a great young man, a bit like my son who also had 3 sisters!! Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx (OSAAT Team)

What a simply super card. I just love that image but the mo's digi stamps are beautiful. Lovely colouring too and with a gorgeous layout. Thanks for joining us at Stamping Dragon challege. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteWow, it is so funny you would mention your 15 year old being little. I had a dream last night that my 31 year old son was about 3 or 4 years old. Nothing really happened in the dream, I was just "chasing him around" like I did when he was little. Oh I miss those days!
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely inside and out! I just love that bow with the twine and jingle bells, did you make that?
Thank you so much for playing along with the Stitchy Bear Angels Design Team! See you next week!
