And another Thank You!

Hello all and I hope that your week has started well?  And I do hope that you're not too badly affected by the weather, either here in the UK or for all those poor souls facing such freezing conditions in the US.  It was back to work for me yesterday at school - but a staff day - and then all the boys arrived back today!  It's never a nice job having to drag my son out of bed (sometimes with threats of cold, wet flannels or crowbars) - but he did quite well this morning.  Not sure it'll continue long though!  He's not what you would call a morning person (understatement there!).  Mind you, I think we probably all find it difficult to get up in the morning when it's so dark - it'll be so nice once it starts to get light again! Roll on Spring!

A quick card to share with you today, and another 'Thank You' card.  I needed a few of these for friends (following Christmas and birthday lol!) and I've quite enjoyed making these. I've used a Bugaboo digi stamp


I've coloured the image with promarkers and used some glossy accents on the ladybird (although I don't think it shows up!)


The backing paper is from LOTV with some added stitching. The spotty ribbon is from Joanna Sheen, with a Marianne die cut and a button from stash. 
One crafty item I did treat myself too over Christmas was a WRMK envelope maker, so it's nice to make some patterned envelopes to go with special cards!  I must remember to take some pics of those too lol!

    Lovely card Kim, I think that's what spring will look like!!! My word we had horrendous thunder storms this morning, which actually got my grumpy teenager out of bed!! xx

    PS. I'm not a morning person - poor hubby has a job waking me up sometimes... in fact at the weekend he left me in bed until mid morning, because he tried to wake me up twice, both of our boys tried too and they all failed - I didn't remember any of it lol!

    Love this Kim its so bright and cheerful, I think everyone hates getting out of a warm comfy bed on these dark dismal mornings, that's one thing I'm grateful for now I'm on carer's leave LOL huggles Sue xxxx

    What a lovely bright cheerful card :) I've been back at work since the 30th and I'm normally fine at getting up in the mornings, though I must admit it's a LOT harder when it's dark and dismal lol :) xx
