Thank you for all your good wishes about the baby fair. I met some lovely people and had a nice day, but sadly the down side of having a fair on a lovely warm sunny day is that most people prefer to be outdoors somewhere - especially as we were just off the promenade at Blackpool! So it was much quieter than everyone was expecting - but I would imagine that most people were enjoying a stroll along the prom or an ice-cream on the beach lol! Hey ho.
Anyway, I thought I'd share one of the baby cards I'd made
The sweet image is from LOTV and coloured with copics and pencils
The spotty backing paper was printed from a Polkadoodles cd and the other paper is from LOTV. I've added some stitching, flowers and pearly heart from WOC, spotty ribbon from stash, and a punched border using a Tonic punch. The sentiment is also from LOTV. And the inside decorated to match!
And this is one of the crocheted baby blankets made to order, with lovely soft blues and lemons with white
They are so nice to make - and so soft and snuggly too!
I've also been trying to catch up with the 21st century and have made a facebook page for advertising and selling the crafty makes, but am still learning what to do lol! I've got endless patience for crafts - but it's in short supply when it comes to computers. So if anyone knows how I link my blog posts to come up on the fb page please can they tell me in simple-to-understand terms (i.e. an idiot's guide!). But if anyone's interested in looking, the link to the fb page is HERE!
Hope we enjoy this sunshine a bit longer - and for tennis fans that Wimbledon is a good one (or at least more successful for the UK than the football world cup!).
Back soon,
Kim x
Hi Kim! Such a gorgeous card, I love your stitching! The flowers are to die for... where did you get them? I really need to stock up on flower embellishments, but am not sure where is best to get them here in the UK (nice designs, good prices..).
ReplyDeleteSharing your blog posts on FB is super easy... Just under your post and above these comments is a row of social media buttons one of which is FB. Just click on the 'f' and log into your FB as you would normally. A small window will pop up which is about to share your post. You have an option to post it to your personal timeline or your FB PAGE so select one by clicking onto the down arrow, write something about it, select a picture you want to display with this post and POST. It's that easy. If you want to post it to both, your timeline and your page just do it twice or then SHARE your blog post directly from your FB. Try it and I'm sure you will get it working easily, If you have any questions just give me a shout. I hope this helps. Ingrid xxx
thanks so much Ingrid! I've tried it and hopefully it worked! I feel such a dinosaur when it comes to all the social media - I've only just got a slight grip on blogging so anything else throws me into a panic lol! xx
DeleteGlad I could help! You can open your Facebook page and the post should appear in your feed straight away after sharing it.

Your creations are gorgeous Kim. Love that cute card. So sorry the fair wasn't very well attended as I am sure your whole stall would have been left bare. I don't belong to Face book so I am of no help.
