We've had the usual busy week - and on Tuesday it was my son's 16th birthday. I can't believe that my baby is now 16 - where did that time go then? I'm sure I just blinked and then what was a cute, chatty little boy has transformed into a 6 foot tall teenager, one that wanders into the kitchen to raid the fridge and cupboards, is perpetually plugged into some electronic device and communicating with similar beings! Do all teenagers need to be surgically removed from their phones? His communication with us is kept to a minimum lol! - I think he's at that stage where we're more of an embarrassment than anything (except when he needs a lift/food/money/etc!). But despite my moaning, he is a good boy really (although he'd hate me for saying that, it's just not cool!).
This is the card I made for him - I've coloured it to match his usual attire (i.e. pale stonewash jeans, grey jumper and his checked bag - not to mention the electronic devices!)
I've used a fabulous Mo image, coloured with promarkers and pencils.
The backing paper was printed from a cd but I'm sorry I can't remember which one (I think it was a Polkadoodles one - they have some great papers!). I've added some stitching and seam binding. The 'buckle' was using a Memory Box die. The lettering and numbers were made with AllOccasions dies.
Quite simple but I hope you like it!
I'm sorry I've been absent around Blogland with commenting, but I've been busy making a few orders - and hope I can get around to see what crafty goodies you've been making!
Back tomorrow with a great new challenge from CraftyCatz.
