I keep hoping for some sunshine but I might be waiting a while....
I seem to have had a busy couple of days - I thought school holidays should be relaxing? Maybe for the children but not the parents! So after a busy day at work today I'm hoping that I'll get a little bit of crafting time tomorrow!
Anyway, this card is one I made a few days ago using one of my favourite LOTV image 'Times to Treasure'
I've used promarkers to colour the image and kept the colours soft & pastel. The backing papers are from First Edition 'Birdsong' and coredinations card. The die cut circle is using a Spellbinders 'persian motifs'.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the die cut leaves are 'meadow leaf' from Poppystamps, with some added pearls from my stash. I stamped 'Thinking of you' with a CraftersCompanion stamp, but used a sepia tint, which is probably a bit too pale, maybe I should have either used a stronger colour for that or stamped it onto a separate piece of card!
Back soon, Kim x
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:-
Stamp & Create - hands full of love
The Pink Elephant challenge - summer
Wild Orchid Challenge - round in circles

Hi Kim...lovely sweet card image is super one, x carol
ReplyDeleteWow Kim this is beautiful honey. I love your colouring. I am very jealous of you having those gorgeous Parisian Motif's, they are so pretty!!!. Can't believe you have had such rotten weather there, it has been absolutely baking in Eastbourne. Poor little Mo was too hot and had to bring her into the lounge with the fan on!!! only when it got cooler late this afternoon could I pop her outdoors in her carrier to get some fresh air. It's meant to be even hotter tomorrow. Lets hope that you get some of this heat tomorrow lovey. Hugs Clare xxx
