Anything but a card!

Good morning and - yippee! - it's Friday! I hope you have something nice planned for what - in the UK - will be a long Bank Holiday weekend?  I'm just hoping that the weather holds - we've had a nice few days with lots of sunshine. That's also meant that I've been out in the garden too. After what has seemed a VERY long Winter and freezing March, it's actually looking more like Spring and the garden has gone into overdrive. So I've been out doing lots of weeding and tidying - and my back and knees will probably pay the price! And needless to say, I've had the assistance of Tilly the Dog and Grumpy Poppy who both have to be out in the garden with me.  Tilly's help consists of standing on plants, drinking water from the pond (complete with pondweed and tadpoles - yuck!) and snuffling under every plant and shrub. Poppy spends most of her time lying in the sunniest spot she can find, glaring at the dog and making chirruping noises at the birds! Joy!

Anyway, less waffle! As it's Friday, it's time for a new challenge over at Polkadoodles - and this week the challenge is for 'Anything but a card'!  So, with gardening in mind, I decided to decorate a cheap little notepad that I'd bought and make a 'Garden Notebook'

The papers are all from Cherryblossom Lane cd. I've added some flowers from the cd, tags (with added wording) and butterfly (with wire for antennae!) also from the cd. There are so many gorgeous papers on the cd that the hardest job is picking which ones to use lol!  Then I've just added a DooHickey die cut fence and sheer ribbons. The buttons are from stash.

So do pop over to the Polkadoodles blog and see the fabulous inspiration from the DT - and don't forget to check out the great offers on the Polkadoodles website!
Back soon,
Kim x

I'm entering this notebook into the following challenges:-
Delightful challenges - anything goes with ribbon
DRS Designs - butterflies
Creative Belli - spring
