Hope that your week is going well and the sun is shining for you!
Just a quick post from me today without too much waffle! I was asked to make a Christening card for a friend for her grandson. As he is nearly 2 years old I didn't think it seemed right to use a 'baby' image for the Christening card, so decided to make the 'wording' the central feature and go from there!
Yes, another Jack! But if he turns out like mine that's ok - because despite my grumbles, I have got a fantastic son! Just don't tell him I said so!
I've used Coredinations card for this in these lovely deep teal colours - just loving this colour at the moment! The two central panels are cut with Spellbinders 'lattice motifs', as are the corners. The flowers are from Wild Orchid, a white gardenia, white rose buds, leaves, and two ivory tea roses that I've sprayed with Cosmic Shimmer mists! The pearls are from my stash.
I used a similar layout on the inside of the card, with contrasting corners and some sheer ivory ribbon.
Quite simple for me really!
Hope you like it - and more importantly, hope the parents of Jack liked it!
Back soon, Kim x
