Up to mischief!

Good afternoon all in Blogland and hope that your week has been going well.  I can't believe it's Thursday already, sometimes the days just seem to fly by and I don't feel as if I've managed to complete anything! I often feel as though I spend my time running around trying to finish things off, but never quite managing it!

Anyway, a very big welcome to my new followers - it's lovely to have you 'on board'!  And a big thank you as always for all the lovely comments I receive on my creations! It's so encouraging!

Today's card features a cute character from Mo's Digital Pencil - Eli.  When I saw this little digi stamp it really made me smile!  A few years ago we'd had a delivery of some big household item (I can't remember what!) and after unpacking had a very large cardboard box in our hallway.  This provided endless amusement for the kids, particularly my son Jack (who would have been about 9 or 10 at the time).  One priceless moment was when he realised he could hide in the box completely, he waited for his sister Lauren to return from her friend's house, and then pounced out of the box just as she was taking her coat off!  After she'd finished screaming and her pulse rate had come down a bit I explained that this was one of the joys of having a little brother!  Poor Lauren has often been at the 'rough end' of her brother's jokes and pranks and I've spent many a 'happy' hour acting as referee and umpire when arguments broke out! Oh joy!

I've coloured this mischievous pair with promarkers

The backing papers are: light teal coloured coredinations card, Kraft coloured paper from LOTV's Krafty Christmas, and 'LifeWords' from the Inspirables range from EK Success.
I've distressed the edges, added some machine stitching and some bakers twine.  The little buckle is from a Memory Box die and the button from stash. I printed the sentiment on the computer - and I can't think of a better definition of little boys!
Hope the card makes you smile too!
I'll be back tomorrow with new challenges from CraftyCatz & Totally Papercrafts - so do call by!
Back soon, Kim x

I'm entering this card into the following challenges :-
I love promarkers - anything goes
Scrapalicious - anything goes
LEJ Designs - anything goes
Twisted Tuesday - cool colours + inked edges
