Warning! Little Girl with Attitude!

Good evening all and hope that your week is going well? We had a minor crisis today when a little cat turned up crying on our doorstep at 5.30am this morning! A young one, only about 5 or 6 months old - obviously lost and confused! Tilly the Dog was getting most upset about all the meowing going on, and every time we opened the door it tried to run into the hall! Why do they always seem to pick our house?? I'm sure neighbours must have heard him (he had a very loud meow!) but it was yours truly stood on the doorstep in my dressing gown at 5.30am seeing if he had a collar, if he was hurt, etc! And trust me, the vision of me in night attire at that hour is not a pretty sight! It takes a few mugs of tea before my face falls into place! So we seemed to spend quite a bit of the day phoning vets, rescue centres, etc., to see if anyone had reported a missing - and very cute - kitten! My neighbour and her little boy had a very enjoyable few hours keeping an eye on him, but as he showed no sign of trying to find his way home I eventually got him in a cat basket & took him to our vets. Thankfully he was microchipped - and is now residing back in his home! Never a dull moment!

Today's card has an absolutely adorable little character from Mos Digital Pencil - called, appropriately, 'Talk to the Bear'! And I'm sure anyone who has small children (and bigger ones!) will easily recognise that attitude!

I've coloured her with promarkers, keeping to a very girlie pastel colour palette!

The backing papers are from the gorgeous new range of Nitwit pads on sale at LOTV - they really are scrummy (and no, unfortunately I'm not on a sales commission!).
I've kept it fairly simple, just using some lace & buttons from stash. I made the sentiment on the computer - the image just reminded me of the 'can't hear you' attitude!

And the inside decorated to match!
Hope you like the little cutie!
Back soon, Kim x
