Watering the garden!

Good morning all and hope that your weekend is going well? The sun is just starting to come through nicely here, but don't really have anything planned for the day yet - probably the usual housekeeping & catering duties that my days seem to consist of during the school holidays! One of my friends says it's my fault that I end up with so many eating here because I bake & make bread! Apparently that's one of the main attractions! Perhaps we should just live off peel-off lid meals for a week and see if that makes a difference! It's not fair complaining though really as the house would feel so quiet if it was just me & hubby!

Today's card uses one of my Sarah Kay stamps, Elodie in the garden

Sorry, the photo looks a bit dark! I blame the photographer! I must sort out some better lighting - not sure it'd make the cards look any better, but at least they'd be brighter lol!

I've coloured her with promarkers & pencils. The backing paper is from K&Co, with some coredinations card for the base and fence. I've added a Marianne die cut swirl, some punched flowers with pearls from stash, and one of my favourite dies, the DooHickey 'lovely fence'. I'm still not 100% sure about the lace, and perhaps I was doing my usual trick of throwing too many things at the card! I'll never manage a CAS one! I'm always so impressed by people's CAS cards, but mine always look unfinished to me! Hey ho.
Hope you like it anyway! And thank you for all the lovely comments you've been leaving - they really mean so much!
Back soon, Kim

I'm entering this card into the following challenges :-
ATC's & cards with attitude - lace/anything goes
2 Sisters Challenge - in the garden
Just some lines - lots of layers

  5. I adore this card sweetie. You are the same as me I can't do CAS, I always think mine look like I got bored or I couldn't be bothered. Other peoples look good most of the time. I love your fence detail, goes so well.

It must cost you a fortune feeding all those visiting youngster's.
