Anyway, thought I'd share a card with you that I made with a cute Saturated Canary digi - Nevaeh. I'm never quite sure whether I'd call this colour 'soft green' or 'teal' - what do you think?
I've coloured her with promarkers and made it into a 6" square gatefold card
I was quite pleased with the dress, but still not convinced about my 'blonde' hair colouring. I struggle most with blonde and grey hair!
The backing papers are from First Edition. And decided to challenge myself to make a girly card without using flowers or too many embellies!
So hope you like it!
I'll let you know how birthday boy enjoys his 'non-party party' lol!
Back soon,
Kim x

Hi Kim, I would say soft green and think its a beautiful shade too. Your card is beautiful and I love the design you've chosen too. Hope you all have a fab non party and hope your hubby enjoys his birthday xx
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Kim as always, and as for your blonde hair colouring, when i was scanning this post before reading it I thought to myself "hmm, I must ask her what colours she uses for her blonde hair, it looks great" so....what colours did you use for your hair if you don't mind me asking?! Also, I'd go with it being teal myself :) Lovely colour combo and great CAS style :)

This is gorgeous as per usual Kim. Your colouring is awesome, I can't see anything wrong with the hair. I would say it is teal. Hope the non party party has gone on off with no hitches and your orders were carried out to the letter. Lol!!! My hubby is older than me and will be 70 in April. Now that is really old. Lol!!!

Sweet card and I think the blond hair looks great. There is definitely too much blue in that colour to call it soft green - it's teal to me.
ReplyDeleteTruly gorgeous, I call it soft sage!

Beautiful card Kim. It's hard to say really, but I think I'd go with geal or treen. ;-) Actually, at first I thought green, but the more I look, the more teal it looks. Whatever it is, it's great.

Kim, this is a lovely card. What lovely soft colours you have used. I love your colouring of the hair, I always do brown without thinking must try blonde. Tracey xx
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, awwww isn't she just gorgeous! And a wonderful colour choice - I couldn't say whether it was teal or green - am terrible with naming colours!!
ReplyDeleteHope hubby's non party-party went well - know how it feels to be married to a person of more advanced years - mine turned 52 this year. Don't know how that happened, or how I got to 42 either!!!
Sarah
PS - Your blonde hair colouring is lovely, if you ever want to try a new combo drop me a line, and I'll give you my colour combo as well.
This is gorgeous Kim, whatever colour it is! Fab image and papers :o) My hubby's younger than me, so I tend to look forward to his birthdays as it closes the gap a teeny bit lol! Hugs, Lisa x
