A scheduled post from me as I'm at work today and it's my last day in my old job! It'll feel strange leaving today after over 8 and a half years, but I'm looking forward to starting my new one on Monday. I'll let you know how it goes!
As it's Friday it's time for a new challenge over at CraftyCatz and this week our lovely Nick gave us the challenge of 'ribbon pleating'. We're sponsored by the fabulous Crafty Ribbons - and do pop over to the challenge blog and see the fantastic inspiration from the DT!
I've used a Wild Rose stamp 'Bella with wand' (and apologies for the rather dark photo!)
I've coloured the image with promarkers and added a good scatter of glamour dust!
Now I'm sorry but I think my ribbon pleating is a little on the dodgy side! It was more difficult than I thought with sheer ribbon! The papers were freebies with a magazine. I've mounted the image on a Spellbinders 'floral oval' and added the banner using Whimsy stamps and die. The holly die is from Cheery Lynn with some red pearl 'berries' and some buttons from stash.
I do hope you'll join us at CraftyCatz with your ribbon pleating creations!
And thank you for taking the time to comment - they are always welcome and much appreciated.
Back soon,
Kim x
