Let's see some sparkle!

Hello and I'm back again as it's time for a new challenge over at CraftyCatz!  And this week the challenge is a nice easy one for this time of year - 'Let's see some sparkle'!
We're sponsored this week by

and I've used one of their images for my card

I've coloured the image with promarkers and then added LOTS of Stickles...
I just wish all the glittery bits would show up better on my pics!  I've also added some pearl drops for the snow.
The glittery green backing paper is from K&Co with some spotty ribbon from Joanna Sheen.  The die cut Christmas trees came from my stash and I've had them so long I've forgotten where I got them!  The cute little silver snowman was 'robbed' from some Christmas decorations.  I've noticed us crafters can never look at things properly - we always look at them and starting calculating how we could use them in our crafting....
So I do hope you'll get carried away with the glitter and join us for some sparkle at CraftyCatz.
Back soon, Kim x

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:-

Adding Texture

Yes, I'm back again - and it's time for a new challenge over at CraftyCatz!  And guess who's chosen the theme for this week? Yes, it's yours truly!  So, as I always enjoy adding lace, ribbons, twine, etc., to my creations I picked the theme of 'Add Texture'!

We're sponsored this week by The Stamp Fairy, and I've used one of their images for this creation.
I've coloured him with promarkers and added stickles to the snow - not sure what I'd do without stickles on my Christmas creations lol!

The backing paper is from LOTV 'KraftyChristmas'. I've added some glittery netting and the fence is made using Doo Hickey die. The sentiment is from LOTV. The snowflakes were made with a Tonic punch and a bit of added bling. The white satin ribbon is from my stash and the cute wooden star button is from CraftyEmblies.
So have a rummage in your stash for all your lace, fabrics, twine, etc., and then join us at CraftyCatz!

Not too scary!

Good morning - Friday again already! Where did that week go then? The days seem to pass so quickly at the moment. I'm busy trying to get some cards made as I'm planning decorating during half term in another week. I don't mind the decorating bit, it's just the clearing everything out and preparing the room that's the 'yuck' bit! But our lounge is desperately in need of doing and I'm determined that it should be done before Christmas - so I'll just have to grit my teeth and get on with it!

Anyway, on to today! It's time for a new challenge over at CraftyCatz - and this week our lovely Dianne has chosen 'Halloween'!  Now, I have a confession to make. I've never made a halloween card or creation before. It's not really something that I'm excited about - and spend most of my time on 31st October stopping Tilly the Dog getting too excited by all the kiddies coming to the door and also stopping my own 'little darlings' from eating the sweets I have in a bowl for the trick & treaters!  So this was a new venture for me - but I surprised myself and actually enjoyed making it!

When I saw this cute 'Bat Cat' image from Mo's Digital Pencil I couldn't resist! We do sing the 'Batman' theme to our cat (but change the words to 'Fat Cat' as she is rather a podge!).

I've coloured the image with promarkers. The backing paper was made using the Big'n'Juicy 'Spice' inkpad and then drawing on some cobwebs. I then added some netting (shaded with the inkpad). The sentiment was printed on the computer (with a little clip art!) and then shaded, and added a couple of Poppystamps 'meadow leaf' die cuts. I then added lots of purple & black and a little sparkle with the ribbons and buttons from stash.
So I hope you like my first Halloween creation! So do pop over to CraftyCatz with your spooky offerings and join us!  We're sponsored this week by

Pretty Easels!

Good morning! I can't believe that it's Friday again already, although I'm ready for the weekend. I seem to have had a haze of constant headaches and migraines this last week or so, so I'm just hoping this weekend is a bit more relaxing! Mind you, with the usual comings and goings of our house it never seems really quiet - except when the offspring are all away! But despite my moans, I do love having a house full really!
Anyway, as it's Friday it's time for a new challenge over at CraftyCatz, and this week our lovely Carol has chosen the challenge of 'Easel Cards' - so a nice easy one for everyone!
My creation for this is

I've used  the gorgeous 'Winter Fairy' from Wee Stamps - aren't these just the cutest pair?!

I've coloured the image with promarkers and a couple of spectrum noir pens that I got to try. And of course I had to add some Stickles!  The backing papers were printed from the Artylicious 'Seasons Greetings' cd which I bought ages ago. I used it a few times then it got put away and, to my shame, I forgot about it until a week or so ago - oops! There are some gorgeous designs on there, so I'll make sure I use a few!
I've added holly leaves from Cheery Lynn dies, punched snowflakes (with more stickles!) and a punched border with my Tonic punch. The ribbon is from Joanna Sheen, with red beads for holly berries and then some pearly bits from my pearl pen.
Hope you like it!
So do pop over to the CraftyCatz challenge and join in. Our sponsor this week is

Autumn Golds!

Good morning and hope that your Friday is starting well.  I'm hoping that today proves a bit better than yesterday, as I started with a humdinger of a migraine at 5am which carried on more or less all day. What a waste of a day feeling so c**p! Sigh.

Anyway, no whingeing today, and as long as I can get away without one of my more or less constant headaches then it'll be a good day!
And as it's Friday, it's time for a new challenge over at CraftyCatz.  There were some fantastic entries for the lace and bows challenge last week - and congratulations to the winner. It's always such a pleasure to browse around people's blogs and see the variety of crafting creations.
The challenge this week, chosen by our lovely Janette, is 'Autumn' - so a nice easy one for you! Our sponsor this week is

and I've used a StampFairy image for my card.

But considering our 'autumn' up to now perhaps it should just feature rain & water lol! But I loved this cute simple image, and her little teddy!

I've coloured the image with promarkers. The backing papers are from American crafts and a freebie spotty one. The ribbon and button are from stash and the mulberry flower from WOC. I enjoyed making the leaves, with white paper coloured with a Big'n'Juicy pad 'spice' to get the shades of colours, then cut with Spellbinders 'Fall Foliage' dies.
Hope you like it!
So do pop over to the CraftyCatz challenge blog and have a look at the great things produced by the DT - and by our new DT members!
