Today's card features a lovely image from LOTV. I did warn at the end of the last post that the next card was very girly - so here it is!
One of my favourite things is to go for coffee & cake with a friend - what could be nicer! And these two look as if they're really enjoying that too!
I've coloured the stamp with promarkers & prisma pencils.
The backing papers are from First Edition and Nitwit and the sweet paper with cake & teapots on was a freebie.
The flowers (gardenia, wild rose, cherry blossom & hip rose buds), leaves and heart charm are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the organza ribbon and lace is from CardCraftUK. The sentiment stamp is from Chocolate Baroque.
Although I didn't take a photo (duh!) the inside is decorated to match the front!
I hope that you enjoy the rest of your weekend. We're having a little afternoon tea party tomorrow (terribly British!) so just hoping that it's not raining then!
Back soon, Kim x
I'm entering this card into the following challenges :-

OohLaLaChallenges - Make it Girly
PapertakeWeeklyChallenge - sketch
Fab card Kim, we're watching the river pageant too on the telly, they look cold! I love that image that you used, the two little women look so like my mum and aunt! :D Such a pretty card :)

Hello lovely. Your girlie cards are beautiful Kim!!! so so pretty and like me you love those LOTV images. I'm sure that you know this already but LOTV are doing a special this weekend 5 stamps for £20 plus free postage. I am so happy that you are making cards for your local Cats Protection hun. They need so much support and if we can help in any way you feel like you are able to do something. Your cards will be snapped up anyway as they are gorgeous. Hope you have a great weekend and bank holiday. Big hugs Clare xxx
ReplyDeleteAfternoon Kim love the card that image is so cute and the flowers and layout is lush. Watching the pageant too the Queen looks happy and radiant and looks like she is enjoying it even though the weather is awful, what an inspiration she is. Have a good day and enjoy your afternoon tea party tomorrow. Take care. Caroline xxx
